Terry Elkins Named Vice President/Quality for Elgin Fastener Group

Elgin Fastener Group Names Vice President/Quality

Terry Elkins named Vice President/Quality Elgin Fastener Group recently promoted Terry Elkins to the position of Vice President/Quality. Elkins joined the Ohio Rod Products division of Elgin Fastener Group as Quality Manager in August 2007 and recently completed a five month stint as interim General Manager of Elgin’s Chandler Products division in Cleveland, OH. He has previously served in various quality and engineering positions with Syprus Technologies, Diamet Corp., Johnson Controls, and Neptco.

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an Associates Degree in Material Engineering from Purdue University. In his new position Elkins will assume responsibility for all quality related functions at each of the divisions of Elgin Fastener Group, including Black Belt training and implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes.
